Canon Pixma MG5550 Printer Description

The Canon Pixma MG5550 is capable of printing at speeds of up to 12.2ipm for mono and 8.7ipm for colour.

In terms of the quality of prints, a 4800dpi print resolution will see mono and colour pages looking both sharp and vibrant. Canon states that the Pixma MG5550 can “print photos in seconds from Facebook, Twitter and online albums like CANON iMAGE GATEWAY and Picasa or print documents from cloud services like Evernote and Dropbox directly from the printer screen”.

When you download the Pixma Printing Solutions app from Canon you can scan or print from a smartphone or tablet. This feature, combined with the machine’s advanced connectivity and Wi-Fi settings make it an excellent home printer. Additionally, the Canon Pixma MG5550 is compatible with both Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint.
